Online Valuations

“Zillow says my home is worth…”

Due to some recent questions regarding some of the free online information and values available, I feel it may be time to bring back this wonderful article that was printed in the Herald Tribune just a few years back.

It takes a look at some of our Florida state representatives including our governor’s real estate and where the various sites such as Zillow and Trulia land in regard to value.

I post this article again as a reminder that you cannot use this information as hard fact. Only a Real Estate Professional can give you a full and accurate valuation of your property. These sites use algorithms that can come close to what the general market is like in a broad sense. Generally by zip code and county but cannot begin to take into account the specifics of your home and your particular neighborhood.
